Meet Our Board of Directors

Mike Brazle

Mike Brazle, President. A native of Montana, Mike Brazle has ministered with the Church of Christ in Kimberling City for eight years. He and Gail, his wife of 40 years, met at Oklahoma Christian College.  They have two adult children and one granddaughter. 

Mike definitely has Ozarks roots as his paternal grandparents grew up and were married in the Shell Knob area.  Mike has also had the opportunity to pastor not only in Missouri but also in Oklahoma, Montana, Kansas and Washington.  He is an especially proud first time grandpa, enjoying his new granddaughter. 


John Kiehl

John Kiehl, Vice President. Being a founding board member of Love INC, John earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pittsburg State University and went on to become an honors graduate of Christ Unlimited Bible Institute.

He served as the Director of Family Ministries and Counseling at Kansas City Youth for Christ for 8 years before becoming the Executive Director of ‘House On the Rock Ministries’, a Christian marriage, family and relationship development ministry which he cofounded with his wife Debbie in 1989.

Other accomplishments include certifications in Pastoral Counseling, Christian Conciliation and REPARE/ENRICH counselor; charter membership of the American Assn. of Christian Counselors, facilitator for Within Our Reach and PREP and served as a volunteer child advocate for Compassion International and New Life Foundation.

John and Debbie have shared 42 years of marriage and 34 years of faithful service to Jesus and the furtherance of His Kingdom. They have two amazing children in Shauna and Justin, a wonderful daughter-in-law Brittany and two beautiful granddaughters, Jordyn and Macy.


Dennis Winzenried

Dennis Winzenried, Treasurer. Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, Dennis was first introduced to God’s love through his family, his church and the Colorado Rockies. He experienced his call to ministry while attending Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin Texas being ordained to the Gospel ministry in 1980.

Following their marriage in 1974, Dennis and Phyllis set off on an adventure of life and faith. Beyond seminary and ordination, Dennis has served four churches throughout Texas, Kansas and now in Forsyth, Missouri where he has pastored for 14 years.

Dennis and Phyllis have two sons – Nathan married to Leslie making their home in Wichita, Kansas and Scott, living in Branson; two grandchildren - David, their step grandson in Wichita, and Mackenzie, their granddaughter in Branson.

Dennis loves living in the Ozarks and being pastor of Forsyth Community Presbyterian Church. His sense of call is to serve Christ, pastor the people of the congregation and to be a pastor to the community at large.


Marcia Dial

Marcia Dial, Secretary. A native of McPherson, Kansas and a graduate of Wichita State University, Marcia was a teacher and school administrator for 39 years and 35 of those years were served in Stone County, Missouri.

In addition to serving on the board of Love, INC, she also serves on the Reeds Spring School Foundation Board and Quest Preschool Board. Having a former appointment as Education Chairman and Sunday School teacher at the Kimberling City United Methodist Church, she and her husband Pat remain active participating members. They have shared 49 years of marriage raising three children and are now having the wonderful opportunity of enjoying their five grandchildren.


Dennis Ahlvers

Dennis Ahlvers, Active Board Member. Born in Beloit Kansas, Dennis Ahlvers spent most of his younger years growing up on the farm near Frankfort, Kansas and still farms actively on that same family farm. He and his wife of 48 years, Frances, owned their own business before beginning work at Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon retiring after 30 years with Kansas State, they purchased a home in Reeds Spring, MO eight years ago and became very active members at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kimberling City.

Along with his involvement with the Men’s Fellowship Group and Building & Grounds, Dennis helped to found the church’s Mission’s Committee which is a strong supporter of Love INC and their community focused ministry projects. The Stone County Loaves & Fishes outreach; Legacy Gardens project along with several other opportunities for community outreach and events keep him quite busy.

Dennis and Frances have three children, one son, Lanny and his family live in Frankfort, Kansas, and son Lee, daughter LeAnn and their families live in the Kansas City area.


Heather Cognito

Heather Cognito, Active Board Member. Moving from Southern California to help operate the family farm, Heather Cognito and her husband, Phil, have called Christian County home since 1992.

Six years ago Heather began working with the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce where she serves as the Director of Membership.

For multiple years she was able to work alongside local businesses gathering volunteers for Community Caring Day and during that time, her membership with the ‘Branson Believers’ catalyst group opened an opportunity for introduction to the ministry of Love INC.

Heather’s ability and desire in assisting others to grow and prosper in their business only add to her commitment of ‘giving back’ to her community. Heather was welcomed to the Love INC board in 2014.


Marcia Dial

Herb Smith, Active Board Member. Herb Smith grew up in Michigan. He attended Michigan State University where he received two degrees in Communication Arts (TV-Radio). He met Vicky at MSU and they married while still students. While in college Herb felt called to serve the Lord in Christian radio, which he has done at several radio stations in Michigan. They moved to Branson in 1995 to help develop the ministry of KLFC radio. They formed a non- profit ministry, Mountaintop Broadcasting, Inc., and purchased KLFC in 2001. Herb and Vicky have three daughters and five grandchildren.


John Baltes

John Baltes, Advisory Board Member. John’s previous upper management positions with Sea World Ohio and California and Suncrest Investments in California, prepared him with an exceptional experiential background of leadership and marketing allowing him to confidently accept Silver Dollar City’s offer of General Manager and make Missouri his family’s new home in 1981. Participating in the guidance of the ongoing growth of Silver Dollar City, White Water Branson and White River Landing over a 16 year period, his strategic and successful leadership allowed him the honor of being offered the position of President for the newly formed Silver Dollar City Foundation of which he accepted, in 1997, and still holds at present.

John has also holds facilitator certifications for Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Four Roles of Leadership, Servant Leadership, Four Roles of Boardsmanship and leads as President of the Legacy Quest Board and OMC Love In the Name of Christ Board. Further community involvement includes membership on the OMC Legacy Catalyst Core Team, Heartland National Christian Foundation Advisory Board and OMC Prayer Breakfast/National Day of Prayer.

John and wife Michelle are blessed with seven great children, John, Christopher, Linda, Casey, Joseph, Patrick and Christy.


Lauree Hanson

Lauree Hanson, Advisory Board Member. A native of Missouri, Lauree is founder and president of Eagle Point Asset Management, an investment advisory firm she formed in 1999. She and husband Cris proudly boast of their son Daniel and daughter Rachel, both active in college life.

Lauree graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Missouri with a BS in Finance and in 1988 she completed an MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Qualified Kingdom Advisor.

She is also an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, MO as well as several organizations within the area including sitting on the OMC Love INC Board of Directors.
